hello everyone i have a licensed of the flyenv on my computer I'm tempted to sell my laptop and get a new one how can I keep or transfer the license to new one?
The current license is bound to the computer's UUID. If you change computers or the computer's UUID is modified, simply request a new license using the original license request information. In the future, will considering introducing an account-based system for license management.
You can do this now, on license page in request form and where is says Activated display current UUID, and on website create form for requesting license transfer. Where user will put old UUID (activated) and new UUID
This might not be ideal. Most users don’t typically keep track of their computer’s UUID, and FlyEnv doesn’t store user UUIDs either. So if an old UUID becomes invalid, the user would have to obtain a license again using a new UUID. A better approach would be to consider setting up an account system. This would resolve both license migration issues and multi-device licensing problems.
