Using two fingers to scroll usually works, as with zoom.
Surface Pro 8
I have the same issue!
Device Asus ROG Flow X13 (2023)
Operating System Windows 11
Xournal++ Version 1.2.1
I don't have this problem
Device: Asus ROG Flow X13 (2022)
OS: Linux (Pop OS 22.04)
Xournal Version: 1.2.1
Does this happen with GTK inertial scroll turned on or off ? (can be found at: Edit -> Preferences -> Touchscreen -> Touch Scrolling -> "Disable GTK's built-in inertial scroll functionality") And does the behavior change when switching it on or off ?
I can see some minor jitter on my side with it turned on, but not to the extent you're experiencing.

Fixed the problem for me, windows 11, xournal version 1.2.2

Fixed, W11. But I miss the inertial scrolling.
@YosypC Try scrolling down in the "Touchscreen"-settings a bit

I'm sorry I haven't been clear enough.
Disabling the option fixed the jitter, but I would love a properly implemented inertial scrolling. The sudden stop while browsing the pages kills the flow.
Oh, seems I misread.
Btw. another detail of importance is that the issue only appears if a stylus has been used to interact with xournalpp since the program's start. If one restarts xournalpp and then tries to use the touchscreen for scrolling, without using a stylus, the issue is not present. This isn't a fix of course, but it may help with finding the bug.
Same issue! Totally annoying.
