Version for Thunderbird 139-141?
Will there be an Xnote++ available for Thunderbird 139? I've just upgraded.
Seems like a lot of developers are having a hard time keeping up with the TB upgrades. Are the TB upgrades really that different?
Just adjust the manifest.json. It works for me.
version 4.5.48 on ATN is set to 140. Why do you have to adjust the manifest?
Newest Thunderbird monthly release is 141.
Sorry I didn't look at the date of the OP. Anyway, I can report that it won't work with the newest monthly release.
here, it does work with 141. Which problems do you have, wich OS?
I have no problems now.

Well, now there seems to be a newer version. It didn't work 2 days ago. 👍
After receiving the message I'm responding to, I upgraded to TB 141.0, and XNote++ works fine.

The version opto was referring to is https://addons.thunderbird.net/fr/thunderbird/addon/xnotepp/versions/4.5.48 It is not published on GitHub, but that is the version I had and still have installed (which Thunderbird must have upgraded to automatically).
Upgrading from TB 128 to 140 apparently did not change how XNote++ works; it neither helped, nor worsened things. That being said, I still get the following prompts:
XNote ++ for TB 128 New Features
XNote column: In options, you can choose whether to display the XNote column. When the length is set to 0, only the icon is displayed. Mouseover (hover) over the icon displays the note in a tooltip. At this moment, the column picker does not propagate the column position into all subfolders, although new code for custom columns provided by Thunderbird is used. You need to drag the column to the position of your liking. If you click on the XNote column header, you can order by XNote presence and text.
This version implements XNotes for TB 128. Known issues:

TB 128 comes and brings a lot of changes helping to manage our emails. But now again there are very code changes in the core of TB 128.
Donations are very much welcome. Paypal: I want to support adapting XNote++ to TB 128
Many thanks, Klaus
If these are still relevant, "TB 128" should be changed to "TB 128 and above".
