XNote++ 418 funktioniert nicht
Problem with XNote 418 TB115 Win 10 After installing xnote-4.1.8-tb.xpi the button for XNote++ appears, but nothing works when single clicking or double clicking. What do i have to do ?
which TB version? Any other addons loaded? Anything red inerror console /ctrl-shift-J all pressed at once?
It works here in win 11 TB 115.4.2

I updated from Thunderbird 102.15.1 to 115.4.3 and enountered the similar issue.
Windows 10 Pro 22H2 x64 Thunderbird 115.4.3 (32bit) XNote++ 4.1.8 (and DKIM Verifier 5.4.0, ReplyWithHeader 2.6.0) I use Japanese locale.
1.0 XNote++ column is cut off at the startup of Thunderbird
1.1 XNote++ icon in the column header is not displayed if there are many emails
1.2 "XNote++" is not shown in "Select columns to display"

Regarding 2.1, XNote++ window is displayed by the following steps;
i. Doublle-click the email
ii The email tab is diplayed
ii. Close the email tab
iii. Automatically back to the main tab and XNote++ window fade in from bottom
(but 2.0 issue continues. also this is one time workaround. if I click another email and click this email again, the window is not displayed automatically)
3.0 XNote++ icon on the top menu works (it opens a blank XNote++ Window) but saving it doesn't show XNote++ icon in the email list (same as 2.0, 2.1)
4.0 It seems like the leftmost icon of XNote++ windows is missing.
- The official, old XNote column is not working by new design of TB. They took away the old feature of havig custom columns. It is supposed to come back, whenever they have time to implement it.
- This is a workaround, it displays the XNote in the location column. You can try. It does 'flicker', as others observe, because first TB writes the location and then we write in there the XNote. But for now, it may be a workaround.
- The little red crosses in the XNote window are the delete button. For unknown reasons, TB does not show the little crosses instead of one big.
Please let me know whether the new version might also solve the other problems you had on 4.1.8.
@infokretschmann: Is the issue this reports different from that reported in ticket #133?
