  1. Can someone write some instructions in the wiki to set up TLS with a self signed certificate on ubuntu?

Sure https://xmrig.com/docs/proxy/tls unfortunately but it not include part how create self signed certificate. Thank you.

how to get the certificate, any certificate, is the bit I need to know.

I figured it would need to be self signed because there's no website on the server in question.
