Is the problem still occurring with the new v7.2. I cannot get to reproduce the problem. This was an issue in earlier version of the application, but I implemented a fix for it. It's very odd that you are the only user encountering it.

Is there any more Information about my system I could provide?
Could you export your preferences and send the file? you (There is an Export
button in the bottom left corner of the preferences dialog. You can attach the file to you reply or send it to info/at/beeftext/dot/org.
I also experience this behavior. Is there any more info I can provide, except the preferences? (which I've sent via email).
Temporary workaround: When I enable 'Trigger only after spacebar is pressed' this doesn't happen.
