Crash in ButtonBarPagerTabStripViewController

Using XLPagerTabStrip 8.1.0, on latest Xcode, iOS 12, we're seeing a bunch of crashes on

ButtonBarPagerTabStripViewController.swift line 271
ButtonBarPagerTabStripViewController.cellForItems(at:reloadIfNotVisible:)

Haven't been able to reproduce the issue
