Body mods not working
it working in the character screen and the log in screen but not on the actual character model. have tried deleting and re importing, changing setting on the mods, restarting the game, redrawing and nothing is working.
I also am having this issue. The mods were working perfectly fine and then I left the Inn and now none of them work. It is almost as if Penumbra is not responding correctly to the item's it should be overlapping in the game. I tried everything too, and even went back and forth to a sanctuary and reloaded everything down to the files and nothing is working now. I can upload and do everything as before but now for some reason none of the mods show up on my character or anyone else's for my screen!
Same here, it doesn't look like body mods work with Penumbra. I just get that slot as invisible. This is with both T&F and Freyja. Other mods work fine.
I do however know someone who body mods do work for. I wonder if maybe TexTools does something that breaks Penumbra for body mods even after uninstalling all mods. Going to try a complete reinstall of FFXIV.
I would advise you all to join the Discord for quicker and more responsive troubleshooting if possible. Also, if you use both Textools and Penumbra, you may have potential issues as well. I can verify that all body mods work, and would be happy to assist in troubleshooting.
We figured out what the problem was, at least in my case. Many body mods such as T&F and Freyja have a setting called "Skin Material". The default is "No Skin Material". You must set this to something other then the default or otherwise all body mods will show up completely invisible!
