Ideas for Items

New Treasure Vault mechanic has so much potential.

For Headhunters, they could actually collect heads! Promethean's could collect ancient philosophical treatises and essays. Hellenes could collect artifacts from the epics (a fragment of Achilles shield, or a piece of Heracles club (sword?)). Kemetics could get all kinds of objects from ancient Pharaohs, or even new things for themselves, like a particularly fine Senet board.

Unique Heads could be a thing. If you manage to convert to Celtic and take the head of Charlemagne or William de Normandie, for instance. These should only trigger if the character actually achieved something great (something on par with their historical greatness. If William turns around and takes France instead of England, his head should still be special.) The special heads should give extra prestige. The Heads of religious leaders (the Pope, for instance) should also be special and valuable.

Celts could have the opportunity to find/recover the Gundestrup Cauldron and the Battersea Shield. The latter was technically an offering to the gods, so holding on to it should confer risk, but also commensurate reward (prestige?).

Prometheans could get a small tech boost by attracting scholars with their artifacts and ancient parchments.

Nice :) I remember there were these old non-functional events about https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thirteen_Treasures_of_the_Island_of_Britain (cf #10)

Special events for minor titles involved with the safe keeping of certain items ( e.g. Headsman and Archopapyri).

Hellenica, Anabasis. Historical works by Xenophon that covered military campaigns.

Comentarii de Bello Gallico, Ceaser's book on the War in Gaul.

Probably should include at least one text by each of the great philosophers.

Super rare event to get a copy of The Art of War.

A gold and silver torc.

The Blades of Chaos could be a fun little reference for Titan characters to find.

A link from the chain that bound Prometheus.

A gemstone, rumored to be the crystalized blood of Kronos.

Canopic Jar. When held by non-Kemetic characters, Kemetics should try to steal it. Piety for re-interring it.

Roman Skull, the skull of a Byzantine Emperor. Purpleborn Skull, skull of a Born in the Purple character (that was not the Emperor).

Random ideas off the top of my head: various artifacts related to the Greek heroes like the Nemean Lion headdress thingy of Hercules or the spear of Achilles, etc. Would be rare and subject to interpretation about whether it is actually the legendary artifact, like with some of the relics in the game currently. Even rarer would be gifts supposedly from the gods, like getting Apollo's bow or lyre or something.

Egyptian Book of the Dead

To expand on the Canopic Jar thing, maybe just a bunch of loot plundered from Egyptian tombs in general. Kemetics can re-inter the canopic jars, jewelry, scrolls, etc. in the tomb, assuming they figured out the right one in the first place.

How about the spear of mars that are obtainable if you're the pontifex maximus.

Those all sound like great ideas guys! Thanks for the input!

Wines and oils, as discussed in the Shezmu Cult ticket.

Also if you have the spears of mars you could make a event for it shacking(Romans believed that if it shacked a disaster is coming, there is a story that it shacked a day before Ceasers assasination)
