GPU Support?

AV1 encoding is very slow even when optimised on the CPU if the GPU has it available could support be added? Via the vulkan video encoding extensions that support AV1 as of 2024.

That isn't how this works, at all. Vulkan video extensions use the fixed function hardware on the GPUs that are designed for very fast but relatively low quality outputs. There is no level of integration that would be useful or likely even possible between this project and that form of GPU encoding.
