Marketing helps with mindshare, a logo contest maybe?

We did have a logo design, which is more of in RFC phase

I had this design lying around my computer: rav1e (I can export it as an SVG as well)

In case you want to modify it, here's the source file (requires affinity designer). It uses the rust logo and the av1 logo as a basis, similar to dav1d's logo, though I don't know how legal it is to use the logos of both AV1 and rustlang like that. rav1e.zip

Can't say I'm a fan of either of the above, and they both infringe on existing trademarks. What about an albino cheetah? Kinda a riff on Daala's rainbow vomit tiger...

So this weekend, we have worked on refining Logos, so there are ~16 kinds of ones we made, need to discuss and reach consensus

Any use of the AV1 logo is probably trademark infringement. Edit: The use of the Rust logo is also trademark infringement. A generic gear would be fine, however.
