RFE: Possible to support ppc64le vsx implementation?

I'm packaging lpcnet as part of the codec2/freedv implementation for Fedora linux and I was wondering what the likelihood of getting support for ppc64le?

I'm not sure if enabling vsx gets us what we need?

That would require someone stepping up and writing ppc intrinsics code.
