Even on properly following the installation guide, I am getting this error Property 'forRoot' does not exist on type 'typeof NgxEchartsModule'. .

Could you help to setup a minimal reproduction environment or a repo? I can't reproduce this issue.

For me it was happening at 4.2.1. Updating to 6 solved. With angular 11.
