Extension disabling on opening of new link

Hi, amazing work this seems to be the only solution to browse truly full screen on android 12...I can even enable an extra setting on my Oneplus 9 Pro to enable the browser to hide the black bar shown over the front camera...a true full screen experience! The only issue I have which is that the full screen exits on every single new link or URL, this makes it unsable if shopping etc but isn't so much an issue if just reading a news article etc. Any ideas why this would be happnening?
