Feature request: Export individual elements as STL or label them

It would be useful to be able to select individual faces (multi-select) as individual STL files or to be able to name groups of faces so that the name is included in the STL file as in:

solid name 
 ...
endsolid name

This is particularly useful if the STL is used in external tools (meshing, etc.).
