Continious button pressing

I can't press a button for longer than 2 seconds. So it is immposible to play for example Super Mario Bros with viimote 1.0. Would it be possible to add this feauture, so you could play Shovel Knight or other 2D Platformer without pressing a button every 2 seconds?

Are you using the latest version? In theory 0540fdad58c5a3d892bdd4a5327c323529b7ab23 fixed this issue.

I just copied viimote 1.0 over to my Vita, restarted it and I have the same problem.
