New Dual Shock Support
I can't pair my psvita with new dual shock 4
New as in V2/Slim? What is the product ID when you plug it in via USB on a computer? The ID could easily be added to see if it works (I could do a test build to see)
Here's a build with 09cc as the product ID. As far as I can tell the Slim/V2 use this same ID. ds4vita-v2.zip
This evening, after work, I will try thank you very much
I try to connect but "could not find a profile supported by this system" my new dual shock 4 model no CUH-ZCT2G my psvita model no PCH-2006 ZA23
Please help me. thank you very much
That might be a different model than I was thinking of. Plug in your controller to a computer and grab the product ID if you can. (Windows: Device manager > Right click controller > Properties > Details tab > Hardware IDs. Linux: lsusb)
Ok then @xerpi it seems the 09cc model behaves differently.
@mxnectest6969 While we're at it, try the latest relase. @xerpi added the 09cc product ID so there might be some improvements there.
I think I know what happens, when using the old DS4, the Vita automatically sends the command to make the DS4 start reporting data, this doesn't happen when using the new DS4 (the Vita checks for the old PID). I'll try to make ds4vita send that command when using the new DS4.
Thank you for your kindness.
Was this ever fixed in one of those last 2 updates?
Sorry, not yet :(
EDIT: I don't have the new DS4 controller myself so if anybody that owns it wants to help me testing, please join #henkaku on FreeNode IRC.
I have a new DS4; checked the IRC and you weren't there. I'd be willing to test this.
I have a new version of ds4 also.. Willing to test it to vita.. I encountered already some minor bugs. The L analog and the R analog for some specific games
dear xerpi, any news on this front ? I am having the exact same issue as described, unable to connect the controller. Any solutions yet ?
I have a new ds4 and it won't connect to the PS Vita. Any update? I really appreciate your work! Keep it up! @xerpi
