A question about translate

I try to use tranlate to realize translation of one floor house, but the component in this floor is not translate to the X or Y or Z direction, it moves in four directions, and I try to find out why, I find a question in the method translate, the method calculate veca firstly, the result of veca's calculation leads to the problem I just mentioned. Can you help me with this question? Thanks.
