AudioSwitcher 2.0 Beta?

I setup audio switcher v1 today and realized I can't use it because I need to setup the communications device separately for all of my audio setups. I noticed someone brought this up a few years ago and you mentioned it would work in v2. Is a beta of v2 available somewhere? or is there an ETA on when it might be available?
