Correct and Incorrect answers not colour highlighted

When the "correct and incorrect answer mark" button is deactivated to enable the highlighting of correct and incorrect answers in green and red respectively, the answers are not marked as expected.

Has anyone encountered this issue too? And is there a way to fix this?
