Option for not applying application icons

When someone works with a lot of applications, there is a high chance that by far not all applications do have themed application icons, what then doesn’t look good. I asked at gnome-tweaks if those could be excluded, but I was told that theme developers by themselves are able to do this. So would you please make it possible to use this theme without modifying the application icons?
