41560883 - Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock
Tested on https://github.com/benvanik/xenia/commit/880835d9b565a83ba610ecb480f93be4c63a7c2e
Issues:
Unplayable. Black screen after intro cutscene (the Activision and Neversoft logo). Same results with Open GL and Vulkan.

Got it again. Used normal controller, speed up 2.00x I found out i can't use a guitar, it comes as a microphone, and i can not get the game to boot with guitar.
Menu has great fps, 60. Some stuff wont render, characters as an example.
EDIT> Heres a tad bit of gameplay, got guitar to work. Simply do 2.00x speed in intro. https://youtu.be/CcNfLdrLgnc
Fully ingame, 1.0.937 build. Vulkan renderer. If you speed up the cpu at anytime during startup you will greet a black screen. Gets a loading issue after failing a song, same issue as Guitar Hero 5, and games that use the same engine.
Some graphical bugs
Ingame, super horrible performance, audio bugs, graphical bugs
Using the D3D12 Xenia, I am able to get in game although performance is unplayable. I have to set the time scalar to 2x and open the game over and over again, if you get lucky the game will load the next cut-scene after the logos then you can get to the menu. Most of the time it will stay on a black screen after the logos:
If you get to this cutscene, press green on your guitar or other controller to skip it:
Arriving here, the audio seems to be playing pretty well aside from some "skips" every now and then in all menus:
Characters seem to render normally:
The song previews play perfectly:
Gameplay looks greats but runs very slowly and the audio is completely messed up:
Sometime the game completely crashes too:
If you put the game down to 0.5x speed, you can hit notes pretty well but the song is messed up, I haven't tried finishing a song like this yet as it would take a while at 0.5x speed.
So my steps for getting into game would be: 1, Launch Xenia D3D12 2. Set the speed to 2.00x 3. Launch GH WoR 4. Repeat until the game gets passed the logos without a black screen 5. Reset the time scalar 6. Play a song and set the time scalar to 0.5x to be able to hit any notes at all.
Amazing to see how far this emulator has come, I hope progress continues exponentially.
Can you try setting the time scalar in 0.99999 in the config file ? It seems to totally fix the audio for me in the menus for Metallica, probably the same issue here.
I didn't get my hands on a guitar controller yet so I can't test the games as it always inputs a microphone by default...

Just tried and doesn't fixed it, went in game (via party play) and the sound still doesn't work (as it should at least)
I believe the main problem lies at the audio system.
If I set apu = "nop"
at the xenia.config.toml (which disables the audio completely), the game runs without hanging - I can finish the song, I can pause/play, etc..
I am using the last build from July 26, 2022
How do I play Guitar Hero with the controller/keyboard? In my case, only the microphone appears.
Guitar mode is not available to play on Controller
