Update

Game starts goes into menu. If I start a new fight ingame than goes to the loading screens but after that Xenia get's an error gpu lost.

Gameplay with heavily broken graphics. Testing system is Ryzen 2700x @ stock, 16 GB DDR4 G Skill @ 3200 MHz, Inno3D GeForce RTX 2070 Twin X2 8 GB DDR6.

Played Prologue match and watched Mike Tyson get rekt by Mohammed Ali in a CPU match. 30FPS on 2x resolution.

:warning:Xenia may guest crash on startup if it detects a FN4PROFILE folder! :low_brightness: Some reflective clothing will display improperly unless you set d3d12_readback_resolve=true. This will severely impact performance though. :grey_question:Some boxers' body parts will detach during matches?

Issues: -Game crashes during the intro fight. "The guest has crashed. Xenia has now paused itself. A crash dump has been written into the log."

-Audio issue- seems like it's "flickering," songs will sound sped up, or "skip" (like play the last 5 seconds of the song 3 or 4 times)

-Doesn't seem to be a smooth 30 FPS

  • crash on EA logo (can be prevented).
  • bad audio with crackles, cutting out, speeding up (use canary).
  • random crashes in gameplay or menus.
  • needs readback_resolve to render boxers correctly.
  • needs F5 or clear_memory_page_state to get rid of various artifacts.
  • needs mount_cache enabled, otherwise instant KO replays will not play.

I reached G.O.A.T status in Legacy mode and completed Champion mode with little issues on Canary, which I would strongly recommend in this case. I left all my observations about this game here: https://github.com/xenia-canary/game-compatibility/issues/209

There are 2 ways to prevent crash/freeze in EA logo. Either set single core affinity for xenia.exe/xenia_canary.exe before launching the game, or simply install any DLC. ❗ DLC will not work unless using Canary Netplay, but it doesn't matter. As long as there is something to read inside content/45410915/00000002 the game will load fine.
