Issues:
OpenGL: FMVs play without issue, though the screen remains black at all times. I'm fairly certain Xenia does go ingame with OpenGL, as evidenced by my controller rumbling as well as extreme slowdown following the intro FMV. Vulkan: Crashes before going ingame, but the FMVs, menu, and loading screen are all visible.

Intro shown correctly, menus are messed up and in menu there is audio garbage..

Little update : When modifying the driver in the cockpit view we can see through the window, no more grey windows (i've delete the hands of the driver)

Forza Motorsport 4 has less graphical issues in the current master than shown in previous posts.

The first log file is of me starting the game for the first time, completing the first race, finishing the menu tutorials, then doing another race. The game crashed at the end of that race. The second log file is a little smaller but starts after the game crashed the first time, so it doesn't have the first race and the tutorials. I figured I'd include both incase something was different about them. The second log file was generated from my race shown in the video linked above.

Issues:
The game runs decently, most things render correctly (few things broken such as black sky, roads turn white sometimes, wheels render inccorectly on players vehicle and occlusion queries make the sun overly bright se to -1), otherwise the game is fairly playable and is able to save.

Sorry for the lack of detail in this, but I tested it in the Jan 4 2021 version, the sky is black, roads are corrupted but at times load properly, cars look a little weird and in the menus sometimes if too much is loading it lags and the music gets distorted. It works fine and saves but would be very hard to try and complete due to the lagginess.

Other than the graphical glitches its very unstable. Sometimes I can get right into the initial race and play, sometimes will freeze on the screen calibration, sometimes the initial video will have not play the narrator voice, sometimes it does.

My Xenia Emulator Keeps Crashing While Playing Forza Motorsport 4

Tested on master@3a115ae6a (Apr 14 2022) build from a blank save. As with the other recent posts, Xenia reports a guest crash when trying to load the intro race. The intro video narrated by Clarkson only renders the top portion under Vulkan.

By using the settings as attached you can even start the race but at least for me most often after graphical stuttering Xenia crashes.

Game crashes right before the start of the intro race. Previously it was crashing during the loading screen as others have said. Setting mount_cache to true allowed it to go a bit further. It still remains unplayable for me. Specs: Windows 10 Pro Ryzen 5950x Gtx 1080 16gb DDR4 3200 xenia.log
It has been running pretty stable on the latest canary I downloaded today link.
Issues noticed:
- The road texture corrupts when you turn the car.
- The sun bloom gets overexposed when facing the camera.
- Car preview before the race displays a corrupt texture.
- In some tracks the road texture is washed out.
- Can't mount disk 2 (Disk Read Error after selecting ISO).
Other then that it's a huge progress 👏

Game runs decent on the emulator, but the roads and shadows are very glitchy, and when I tried applying the square shadow fix, it kept crashing the emulator whenever I tried to start up the game.
It has been running pretty stable on the latest canary I downloaded today link.

I also experienced the sun preventing me from seeing the road during one race I did in career mode at Road Atlanta.
Seems that after certain races there is race at Hockenheimring (F1 short version) where you need to pass set of gates in two sessions. Just after finishing the second heat when the game is trying to save the result it crashes hard with C++ exception and emulation stops.

Happens also in latest canary.
Ran into an issue in career mode. Right after finishing the second race, when selecting a reward car, the game's kinda stuck at the manufacturer's logo even after the loading text disappeared. But when I press back, it takes me back to the car selection menu, making it impossible to progress through the career mode.
