Issues:

Menus, intro and cut-scenes work well. The sound works well, too. The game does not have some textures (Ground, trees, people, speedometer, interface in the game). Also in the game, collisions with other opponents don't work, and there may be problems with "cpu-jit-problems".

Most issues mentioned above have been fixed and should be updated.

However there seems to be some new ones:

I'm having some broken and flashing lights (textures?) on cars and the hud. The hud flickers when inside a race.

Edit: Everytime I load up the game again it seems that which objects are flashing is completely random. Even while in-game, some stop flashing and others start flashing. There's also a horrible translucent white screen and is constantly flashing in the opening gameplay.

I actually had to erase a lot from the .log since it's over GitHub's 25mb limit, but it pretty much just continues repeating the same error.

First gif is xenia-canary/xenia-canary@c1d3e35, second is xenia-canary/xenia-canary@0df9213, following Blackbird88's report on xenia-project/game-compatibility#509. It appears that it behaves better on 0df9213, but it still happens.

I have done some tests with multiple machines, a desktop and a laptop Laptop: i5 10300H+1650 Ti Desktop: i3 9100F+1650

The issue seems to happen when changing vsync_interval lower than 16 to make the FPS more consistent and higher. Though, these are the values i have seen on both PCs: vsync_interval=8: 50-60 FPS, slightly screen flickering and white-green-ish flashes (game is barely playable) vsync_interval=10: 50 FPS, a bit less flashes but starts to crash after couple minutes vsync_interval=12: 40 FPS, still some flashes and crashes after couple minutes vsync_interval=16: 20-30 FPS, no flashes and no crashes.

hello, i'm on e0f0dc7f3. i have my game updated up to v11.0.4 and with all the dlc installed and i'm on 60fps. the issue i'm having right now is that after a random time playing the game, the game screen freezes, normally happens on loading screens but can happen when i pause the game too, the screen just freezes but the game keeps running, i can navigate the menus, drive my car, etc. has anyone encountered this?

this happened in my game too, it's because the fps is above 60, the game behaves strangely above 30fps but 60fps seems to be stable, to fix that, in xenia-canary.config.toml, change vsync_fps = 60 to vsync_fps = 120 and vsync = false to vsync = true, this will cap the game at 60fps.

Most issues mentioned above have been fixed and should be updated. However there seems to be some new ones: I'm having some broken and flashing lights (textures?) on cars and the hud. The hud flickers when inside a race. Edit: Everytime I load up the game again it seems that which objects are flashing is completely random. Even while in-game, some stop flashing and others start flashing. There's also a horrible translucent white screen and is constantly flashing in the opening gameplay. xenia.log I actually had to erase a lot from the .log since it's over GitHub's 25mb limit, but it pretty much just continues repeating the same error. First gif is xenia-canary/xenia-canary@c1d3e35, second is xenia-canary/xenia-canary@0df9213, following Blackbird88's report on xenia-project#509. It appears that it behaves better on 0df9213, but it still happens.

Has this been fixed? I don't see anything listed Edit: The latest build just finished downloading and I tried it, and the issue is somehow worse on the latest build (dated Jul 29th 2023) compared to the one I've been using so far (dated Aug 24th 2022)

As of a few months ago (sometime around March), I found locking the game to 60fps (using this method) significantly reduced the chance of the flashing occurring but didn't prevent it (it still happened every 30min to 1hr). The way to temporarily get rid of the flashing is by pressing f5 (xenia keybind to clear cache) though it usually came back after a while. I found the flashing was significantly worse with a higher framerate and/or rendering resolution.

The way I played through the entire game was by locking the game to 60fps and having the pause and map buttons also send f5, which made the flashing occur every few hours.
