House Of The Dead 3: Black screen in game
Title
https://xemu.app/titles/53450008/#The-House-of-the-Dead-III
Bug Description
None of the visuals for the actual game or title screen display. However, sound effects can still be heard as normal. These minor text elements still do display:
1.) Denotation of number of credits/lives with the "press start button" text above it. 2.) "HOLD YOUR FIRE!" text which displays during cutscenes. 3.) In-game pause menu giving options to either "continue" or "return to main menu."
Steps To Reproduce:
1.) Start the game
2.) Wait for the game to boot. You'll know it has booted up when you hear a voice say "December 18th, 1998..." as the start of the intro.
3.) Mash start to skip the intro and get into gameplay.
4.) Observe the absence of any visuals aside from some text elements.
Expected Behavior
The game should display all of its visuals.

@ThatDudeYouMetThatOneTime The game is probably not broken on Linux. my guess is your intel GPU/drivers, I had the same issue when testing on intel GPU in the past #571 #543 #459. I can't use window due to a driver issue #84
This game plays fine, it might be your video drivers.
Here are mine:

Same issue with an AMD gpu. Probably an issue coming from Mesa.
The game plays almost perfectly for me. I have an AMD GPU.

Chiming in since OP is Linux, game displays just fine here (other than the slowdown that I guess is just to be expected with Xemu?).
Only thing of note is slight flickering in the skybox when on the title screen.

Looks like it might be specifically a Mesa issue. ~~That's what you would call ironic.~~ Pointless Linux vendor war jokes aside, perhaps if you run with AMDGPU-Pro on Linux it might render properly? Intel probably doesn't have a fighting chance at all in this.
