Dark Alliance 2: Long Loading Times

Bug Description
Loading times when entering a new zone or loading a save are very long (2 minutes+). The game eventually finishes loading.
Steps to reproduce the issue:
- Launch game
- Select "Start a New Game" and select a character
- Skip the cut-scenes.
- Game will load for more than 2 minutes
Expected Behavior
When presented by the Loading screen it is expected that it lasts for several seconds not minutes.

Me and my brother found a fix that worked for us. While loading, just tab out. It wouldn’t load for us but when we tabbed out, it eventually loaded and still works throughout the whole game.
got this game to do co-op, started a new game and it would just perpetually load, it just stayed loading. Couldn’t find a fix on xemu. We accidentally found it while tabbed out.
Tried tabbing out, did not fix for my game. It takes several minutes to load.
Having the same issue with Batocera.linux 39 running on a MINISFORUM Venus Series UM790 Pro Mini PC. I also tried to use mksquashfs to shrink the original iso I created from my XBOX and original game disk and stuck at the same load screen. Connected a keyboard and can not tab. I tried multiple keys with no dice still stuck on the screen.
