Thumbnail size
Is there an option to show bigger thumbnails on list of images? Or even view like on Instagram - one in row? If there's a lot of pictures, like in demo in "food images", all colourful, is hard to see one image, all become one big mess. Some size slider or option to select?
Currently there is no option to have bigger thumbnails.
The heights are defined here. Maybe you can customize your build?

Currently I could not grasp your needs. Would you mind to describe your idea a bit in detail? Do you have a scribble or screenshot?
I would also love to change the size of the thumbnails and also the background color to white, so it can look like pinterest or instagram. Also the option to show the image as a bigger preview pop-up but not fullscreen. Could you add these features?

Currently a day mode is not planed.
This software is an open source software, created in my spare time for free. You can contribute your needs as PR.
