XCP-NG install freezes after USB initalisation (keyboard does not react)
Hi there,
when i try to install XCP nG on a PC its freezing after the usb stick booted the installation environment. So when the first screen, where i can choose the keymap, appears, i am not able to choose anything...the keyboard does not react.
Can someone help me?
Thanks
System: XEON E31235 @3,20GHZ Intel® Server-Mainboard S1200BTL 12 GB RAM
SCP-NG Version: 8.0.0
Also crashes with 7.6.0
Is there any BIOS option i have to (de)activate ?
i have the same issue with orignial XenServer
Try to disable energy/power saving option. Also, I know this is a weird question, but do you have a Microsoft keyboard?

Hey i cant find specific energy power saving options in the BIOS, what i deactivated is CPU S3 und S6 AHCI, but no effect.
i am using a standard pc keyboard from logitech, i also tried a HP and a cherry keyboard.
- Are you sure about the ISO install media? (can you double check)
- Strange for the keyboard. Have you tested in UEFI instead of BIOS (or vice versa)
yes i am pretty sure that iam using the right ISO.
i tested in UEFI , when i try, it cancels the booting of the installation environment, telling me something like:
Panic CPU0
IOMMU disabled /not started or something like that
But i dont think that is the reason, why the first installation try does crash.
i created the boot stick wit RUFUS
Panic CPU0
IOMMU disabled
I saw the same on my 2x HPE DL20
