[Feature Request] Ability to browse/play favorited items?
As the title says.
This has been asked a few times, and favourites are really intended for the skin and don't translate well to the web interface, eg a favourite movie will just return the title, or a favourite addon will open that addon in kodi.
What type of favourite do you want to access and what do you expect to happen when you access that favourite?
Possibly this request is asking access through the interface for the menu Favorites? Such as #77 does?
@jez500 I would want it to show me the Favorites like Browser does with addons and shortcuts. I click the item I want, Chorus2 sends me to the proper location.
So, it looks like we could get away with adding a top level menu item which calls and displays the result of /#lab/api-browser/Favourites.GetFavourites the get favourites API call.
I'm assuming, that is the XBMC favs
Looks like you're running backbone. Is there a contributor's guide anywhere? A thread where you've discussed architectural "themes"? Details on how to update and debug? For example, is it possible to update directly off a currently running KOdi box?
It might take me some time, but I might at least be able to add a view XBMC favourites button
I use favorites a lot for shortcuts to certain add-on locations. eg. to my favorite show in my TVNZ add-on. Having it on the chrosu2 would be nice so can just click and KODI goes to it.
I need it also! I has filling my favorites with radio streaming url's. It would be great if i can switch fast my radio channels. ^^ When it is possible via a cryptic JSON path please tell me.
This must be possible or. Yatze (the remote app for Kodi can list the favorites).
So, it looks like we could get away with adding a top level menu item which calls and displays the result of
/#lab/api-browser/Favourites.GetFavouritesthe get favourites API call.
If it helps, Kore basically calls the method #/lab/api-browser/Favourites.GetFavourites
with params:
{"properties": ["window", "windowparameter", "thumbnail", "path"]}
i would also really dig this. does anybody know if there was some progress on this?
i can add them via superfavourites add-on - but they are not browsable within chorus2 which makes using it without a monitor useless (i use it for podcasts for example,...)
I'm also looking for a way to edit/add/remove favorites remotely (from my PC) because I use Kodi only on my Android TV box. Is there any other way I could control Kodi remotely while still having access to ALL the basic features like browsing tvshows from the "Favorites" menu? This webinterface is nice, but it seems very limited :( The only action I can do in the context menu is "Queue in Kodi". I cannot add to Favorites or open the selection with another addon, etc... (I tried "Kore" on my Android tablet but I can only have view access to the Favorites, which is useless to be honest)
+1 : I would love to see this feature to add/remove/play favorites-items from the webgui
I like to manage my libraries via the web interface, because it's way easier in a browser than via a remote. But I really miss the option to add movies to favourites. That would be super-useful.
