[FEATURE REQUEST] Add photo library management
Hello, First of all, good job for your work, it's awesome! One thing I miss and I haven't been able to find so far is a web interface to manage my kodi photo library. My pictures are on a NAS and accessed by Kodi, I would love to be able to manage my photo library from a web browser when I am at home. I have been looking at Lychee which seems to fit my needs and is open source. I don't know how hard it would be to link it to Kodi library. Anyway I would love something making my able to easily browse through my picture library on a webpage and create albums. Thanks!
It has been over 3 years now and as far as i know there is still no photo library management.
Is this feature request still under consideration or should I look elsewhere if I need to browse my photos from the browser?
I also use chorus (from LibreElec 10.0.1 on a Raspberry 4). I would also like to see this feature. Tried to put an images directory into the "Videos" category in KODI, but then I can only see the .mp4 files in my image directories
A workaround for me was to use UPNP with an app like bubbleUPNP on the smart phone to display images on KODI, but this means handling somewhat device dependent. Having a way to display images via chorus would be much preferred
This project does not have a maintainer at the moment. Plus, Kodi lacks a picture database.
