Video stutters / freezes when playing via "Local files"

Describe the bug

Here is a clear and concise description of what the problem is:

When trying to play a video file, locally stored on the Android device running Kore, via the "Local files" option, the video starts to stutter / freeze after about a minute and numerous "lost diff" messages are logged.

Playing exactly the same file via an SSH connection from the Kodi system to the local Android device, over the same network, does not experience any problems.

I have tested various different video files of different qualities and codecs, on two separate Kore / Kodi systems, and the same same thing happens.

Happy to test any suggestions. Thanks in advance.

The video plays without any problems.

1. Either share the local file with the Kore app, or choose the local file in the "Local files" section of the Kore app.

Your Environment

Used Operating system:

• Mobile device: SM-T720 & SM-T725
• Android version: 15 (LineageOS 22.1)
• Kodi version and platform: 21.2 on OpenSUSE Tumbleweed (two different systems running on HP 260 G1 hardware)
• Kore version: 3.1.0

note: Once the issue is made we require you to update it with new information or Kodi versions should that be required. Team Kodi will consider your problem report however, we will not make any promises the problem will be solved.

Not sure if this is related but, running a logcat on the Android device while trying to play the file shows lots of errors relating to nanohttpd. The errors have existing open issues such as https://github.com/NanoHttpd/nanohttpd/issues/564.

I am running into this problem. I know its not my network as I am able to stream HD videos from my media server to Kodi. Its only when streaming "local files" from Kore (on Android) to Kodi does the video stutter and freeze. Ive tried 1080p, 720p and 480p videos; all have the same issues. The videos are unwatchable.
