will it support m3u8 HSL stream with external subtitle support?

Hello.

Would it be possible to have some direction as to how one should write such a plugin? I'd be up for it.

From what I see you need to create an http server that answers to chromecast requests. I would love some pointers as to how to setup a development environment for this, and read what the chromecast asks for when you send the request to play a particular m3u8 HLS playlist.
