build for windows only connecting

OK i think i got this installed right but i can Not get it to stream to my roku

all it does is saying state: connecting.... and then closed....

i have used this code: castnow --myip 192.168.1.107 --address 192.168.1.110 Untitled.mp4

i have also tried: castnow https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pcVRrlmpcWk --myip 192.168.1.107 --address 192.168.1.110

I have tried my roku over LAN And wifi and i can curl into it to check channels on port 8080 and get channels back so i know that i can connect to roku..

is this a firewall issues on my windows machine?

or is this NOT using the old Dial protocol that chromecast 1 used?

No, this is using another protocol. There is a new version of the chromecast protocol.

I think this does not have anything to do with windows. Are you able to test against a chromecast?

i dont have a chromecast but i am, sure it says that it works with the roku.. roku uses the dial protocol as well
