Export flat patterns from SOLIDWORKS part or assembly components in PDF and DWG

Hello, I find the DWG export macro for flattening an assembly file great, however I find it lacks the ability to export to PDF as well.

This is unfortunately not supported by SOLIDWORKS itself (i.e. you can only export flat patterns to DWG/DWF). It is required to create a drawing first before exporting it to PDF. I will consider this feature as a part of CAD+

Hi artem1t,

Would it be possible to create a drawing of the part with only the flattening and then export the sheet as a PDF?

Thanks for your Help
