SolidWorks Macro-Adding Custom Property to Sheet Metal Parts

I am currently working with a large volume of parts and assemblies that have been created without the advantage of "Custom Properties" that now need to be exported and identified by type to be able to be filtered and grouped for importing into a new ERP. So I have added a new custom property called “Product Class” to our “Part Property Tab.prtprp” and to our “Assembly Property Tab.asmprp” which are linked to separate column lists in an Excel spreadsheet. What I would like to be able to do is add & set that “Product Class” custom property to “Laser Cut & Folded” if a part is identified as a sheet metal part that contains a fold or flange and to "Laser Cut Component" if a part is identified as a sheet metal part that does not contain a fold or flange only a flat profile/pattern. And to do this as a batch operation selecting a folder of part and assembly models at a time. Can this be done?
