pl2303 USB serial converter: unknown device type

Hello

I have Cashino PTP-II thermal printer. It doesn't work as expected under tested xanmod kernels - it get's recognized, but no printing ever happens. I am running Debian 10 buster. It works as expected using the 5.10.0-0.bpo.11-amd64 kernel from debian backports. I have tested xanmod kernels 5.15.26-xanmod1 , 5.15.43-xanmod1 and 5.17.11-xanmod1

Under this, there are outputs of lsusb and dmesg for all of the kernels. I can suply other information if you want.
