Brightness resets to the previous set value after opening the app dialog

With a dual-monitor setup (main on DP, the other on HDMI) sometimes when the slider window is opened, the brightness is set to the previously set value. Moreover, when that happens, the actual brightness only changes on the main monitor. Same thing happens when launching a fullscreen game with below-desktop resolution.

im on 1 monitor but same issue, frequent randomly resets after opening the app dialog in system tray

I have the same issue, but with the first monitor only not de second (I have 2 external monitors)
