Moving forward - Community Confidence
There have been a few errors introduced by the latest Firebase packages (typos, missing/incorrect bindings, etc), for which I apologise. Unfortunately, I don't have the knowledge/time to test every API call. I'm happy to address issues as they're reported, but it's not going to be very effective if this project doesn't get timely releases.
It would be reassuring to get some kind of roadmap for this project from Microsoft, and possibly a pre-release channel so people can test out major binding changes.
@dalexsoto @mattleibow could you offer any information as to when this could get merged and released (assuming @dmariogatto can fix the build)? This is something we are reliant upon.
@SotoiGhost I've created a new branch, firebase-8120-net6, which merges the net6 changes with this PR. Is this work useful to you? Or would you prefer to do the Firebase updates yourself & I'll close this PR?
