Base no longer mine
I have a local save where I am the only player, I moved it to a dedicated server. I got my character back but when I go to my base it says it belongs to another guild.
I am still the only player, id like to get this fixed before letting others join. Any tips or is there something I did incorrectly?

You can pull the files from the pull request and run them locally to fix your issue, it seems like it works based upon the replies in the PR.

Sorry I misread you, the PR is for co-op exclusively.
What you initially did worked and was correct, my friend had a similar issue but he said after relogging at random times he would be guild owner again, I suppose it's recommended to abandon and make a new guild until a proper fix is discovered.

I have the same problem. We used this tool, the old Coop host now has his character. However his palbox says, this belongs to another guild. No longer has his base. Idk what to do.
We fixed it by having the coop host join a guild with another player. Then we kicked the host from the guild, so the other player owned everything. Then we saved and used the script and transferred the world to a dedicated server. Once on the server, the host player joined the guild again and then the other player left the guild. Basically make the server swap, while the host owns nothing. Then give him back the stuff on the server.
That sounds exactly like the guild bug workaround I have in the README so I guess this is just the guild bug.
Closing due to inactivity and since this seems to be due to the guild bug which we already have a workaround for.
