Infinite loading screen

After undertaking this process, my character simply won't load in. Everyone else can log in but me. I'll note that I'm doing this process after a delay (my friends have been playing while I figure this out). I guess that's what's fucking me.

I am not sure if this will help, but try changing your local save to one from the last time you connected to the coop world.

You can find your local saves here: %localappdata%\Pal\Saved\SaveGames\<SteamID>\<ServerID>\LocalData.sav. Keep a backup in case this does not work. You can find the backup saves here: %localappdata%\Pal\Saved\SaveGames\<SteamID>\<ServerID>\backup\local\<dateTime>\LocalData.sav, just choose the time that you last connected.

This worked for me, and based on your notes I suspect that you were the one to mess with the server while the other players were playing the coop world.

I just had this thought this morning, I'll let you know how it went this evening.

This didn't work for me. I still get the never-ending loading.

Make sure you move all files converted by the script to the server, not just the updated save file.

After converting your save file, you need to copy the whole temporary save folder instead of only your new save file.

i have the same problem. I went from a windows dedicated Server to a linux dedicatet server. If change the ini, use the script to convert player data. Seems to be working, no one need to create a new char anymore. But theyre stuck in infinity loading screen. I have moved all .sav files of the player, also the complete level.sav and levelMeta.sav and the level.sav.json (why ever, i have just do it)

I'm going to point all similar issues to this one and turn it into a mega-issue. If anyone is having this bug, please follow the support outlined here and see if something fixes it.

One thing that can be tried is the solution mentioned in https://github.com/xNul/palworld-host-save-fix/issues/31

https://github.com/xNul/palworld-host-save-fix/issues/113 was able to fix their issue by changing a coordinate in the .sav file. Not sure how the fix is resulting in this, but you can try applying their fix and see if it works.
