Whenever I'm using my ASUS X501A's touchpad, the cursor in the game seems to move in a slightly different direction. This happens on Ubuntu 13.04 64-bit.
There is some code for Linux joystick support in the multiplayer code folder. Check this out and maybe port to single player.
