Other mods to potentially be added?
I wanted to suggest a few mods that could be added, namely the ones that were in the original Tekkit (currently on version 1.6.4) and have versions or counterparts that could be added to Tekkit 2. These include:
- ~~Applied Energistics 2 (AE2) (replacing Applied Energistics (1))~~
- ~~Atomic Science~~
- ~~ChickenChunks~~
- DimensionalDoors
- ~~Extra Utilities~~
- ~~Extreme Reactors (spiritual successor to Big Reactors)~~
- ~~Modular Powersuits~~
- ~~Mystcraft~~
- ~~Redstone Arsenal~~
- ~~Simply Jetpacks 2 (replacing SimplyJetpacks (1))~~
- ~~Thermal Expansion~~
- Treecapitator Updated (replacing Treecapitator) (requires bspkrsCore Updated)
Admittedly, I haven't thought about how they would play into balance or if there's any mods already in the pack that replace the functionality of these mods, but especially in the case of DimensionalDoors, I think they would be fun!
Hey, thanks for the suggestions! I edited your message to rule out ones I strongly don't want to add to the pack (as this is mainly a sequel to the original Tekkit release, not the Tekkit re-release). It's still unlikely I'd add the others though, and if you're looking for a modpack that's more in-line with continuation to the Tekkit re-release, check out my other modpack's mod list :) Will keep open to continue a discussion.
Actually, I'd be happy even if it was just those two! Dimensional Doors is a good exploration mod in my eyes, and Treecapitator would be good for convenience.

Fair, I was mostly comparing against this Tekkit pack's list, since it seems to be the one that inherited the Tekkit name. Comparing against Tekkit Classic, yeah, it definitely makes more sense for the current mod list.

Hey, what about tubestuff and redpower? 2 pretty big ones from my personal experience playing tekkit classic, tekkit legends, etc. The current Tekkit 2 version is a pretty cool direction, blending old and new, but i don't know, i'd love to see some more of the classic mods in there
@kssthmn Unfortunately both these mods are not available for 1.12.2.
I think we already have Project Red in the modpack in place of RedPower, but as for TubeStuff, that hasn't been updated since 1.7.2.

man that's unfortunate. could the crafting table from logistics pipes act as a replacement to the automatic crafting table mk2?
