Building gadgets IC2 Edition

What is your suggestion?
With the absence of the builder, filler & blueprints system from buildcraft. I feel there is a massive hole in building tools in this pack. Schematica & exchangers help, but I feel like they are more a band-aid solution that a proper one. An unfinished project of mine for my personal use in Tekkit 2 to solve the issue I stated above was; Taking Direwolf20's building gadgets and make adjust them for IC2. So change their power to EU, use IC2's construction paste instead of it's own, and give it a balanced ic2 recipe. It replaces the builder, filler, and blueprints system that's missing in buildcraft, as well as the exchangers (If you'd prefer to use exchangers instead of the exchanging gadget, there is an option to disable any & all gadgets). It also gives more use to IC2's Construction Foam (CF). I'm happy to make adjustments to gadgets if you feel any are unbalanced. Would this be something that you'd be interested in for Tekkit 2? and by extension Tekkit Smp (I don't play this pack, so I don't know if it would want this or not). All Good if you feel it wouldn't work, thought I'd ask

Thank you for this suggestion! Another useful band-aid is ProjectE's Mercurial Eye, but I agree that BuildCraft's builders are truly missing. This is a super cool project, yet I feel that the Building Gadget concept as a whole doesn't fit the old school gameplay of Tekkit. Happy to keep this open though to see if there's other community feedback!

I can see your point, however since you've already gotten Schematica which does a lot of the same things: Creating, Saving & Loading Schematics, Moveable schematic overlay, printer mode, plus the Exchanger mod, as well as to a less extent the Mercurial Eye you mentioned. It's hard for me to agree with you. If there are specific features that are an issue, I'm happy to adjust/remove them. But if it's truly something you think wouldn't fit that's fine, I won't push anymore. Thanks for your time
