Question according to curved surface

Hi there,

I met another probelm according to solid with curved surface. For example, cylinder. What I'm aiming for is to obtain the circle or ellipse curve, norm direction and thickness. I couldn't get these informations from the XBIMSolid object, from the faces of the cylinder, there are no such radium or curve content inside. Does anyone could help me with this?
