How can I become captain in player career mode?

Every time I put the Leadership trait it dissapears after a game or when I leave. And even if I have it I am not captain. I searched for captainid in cheat engine and changed the id to my player id and still didn't worked.

In whether Live Editor or the Cheat Engine Editor change the year in the "Player Join Team Date" to an earlier year. For example if it stated that you join a club in "02/01/2023", change the year to something like "02/01/1950". It ridiculous but it works. Also make sure to apply your changes. The next game you play your player will be a captain since he has been on the club since forever :). Hope this helps. UPDATE This may sometime reset so you would have to just reset the year to "1950" again and it will work for a few more games.
