There was some extremely suspicious behavior about two weeks ago where he closed out all the issues and replaced all the code with new crypto code. The stars transferred to that repo as well.
I have a fork of the old repo that has had security updates merged into it, but I consider it feature-complete and mainly maintain it for personal use. If you're looking for a more actively maintained project, there is a rust rewrite but the feature parity isn't 1:1.
