Allow system sleep when display is closed setting not inherited by current session

Default/current session does not inherit "Allow system sleep when display is closed" setting on startup. I have Amphetamine set to automatically start up on login and to automatically start an indefinite session. Quitting/restarting Amphetamine or the entire computer still results in the current session using the incorrect setting (does not match preferences).

My main and only use case is the feature to disable system sleep when the display is closed. In fact I never want this setting to revert and allow system sleep - not if Amphetamine is quit or if the computer is rebooted. That's why I have not installed Amphetamine Enhancer, since if the session is somehow force quit, my desired behaviour is to keep disabling system sleep when the display is closed.
