Pre-Submission checklist

  • [X] There is no existing issue that already asks for this feature.
  • [X] The feature already exists in rclone (on your PC or in Termux)
  • [ ] I am prepared to help make this feature

What version of RCX are you using (About -> App version)?

1.12.1

What problem are you trying to solve?

While adding Crypt Type remote, in the field "click to select remote or path to encrypt" there is no option to manually write the absolute local path. Instead a popup appears to select a remote. But i have full write access to my External SDcard via /mnt/media_rw/SDCARDNUMBER/ path thanks to ExSDCard Write Access Enabler magisk module. I have created another issue #150 why i couldn't use local-saf

What should RCX be able to do differently to help with this problem?

There should be option for text field beside selection popup to manually enter the remote path. I used a workaround to fix the issue. Exported config file and edited remote = local-saf:8082-3BA9/Rclone to remote = /mnt/media_rw/8082-3BA9/Rclone and then imported the config file. The remote is working perfectly after that.

Seems like a sensible idea, I'll need to rewrite the config dialogs anyway. This should also be introduced to alias, cache and union.

It might also be a good idea to look for /mnt/media_rw/$drive_serial/ when scanning local drives 🤔. What version of Android are you running? I probably won't add that if it only works on <= 7.1.

Good to hear. From the magisk module description it seemed like it wouldn't work on newer Android versions.
