I think we should have some sort of folder or folders to store people's attempts and hard work as well as showcase other short but not quite one-line programs that people PR.

That's a great idea! I have created a folder for storing honorary attempts and short programs with 077888eed68f375461611edec5e714eda529c331. Pull requests with files that match that description should have those files renamed and moved there.
